Safe use of resistance bands and tubes.

As brilliant and versatile as they are, there's an element of risk using restance bands and tubes, due to band failure. Always check your band before use for any damage or perishing and never use it if it is. All the tubes I use in class either have a protective sleeve or multi stranded rubber core with a protective nylon covering preventing the possibility of sudden failure. If you're buying new resistance tubes I would strongly recommend this option. Also if you're anchoring your band or tube make sure your anchor point is secure and if using it by anchoring it with your feet make sure it's fully under your feet, so it doesn't slip off and give you a nasty wack.
